I thoroughly recommend Clare's Cuisine - she catered for a small funeral with flair, tact, efficiency and above all, delicious food. Her sandwiches were well filled, very fresh with great bread, her sausage rolls were exceedingly tasty, and as for the carrot and orange cake....... divine. Clare herself served and cleared everything up, so we had nothing to worry about on an emotional day. Thank you Clare.

Our birthday bash (and we’ve had a few of them, being 80!) was much enhanced by food supplied by Clare’s Cuisine. The food arrived hot, with all the necessary containers to keep it so, and proved to be plentiful and very tasty. The cold desserts were also delicious and plentiful, and came with all the necessary instructions for the adding of juices, Thanks

Clare provided us with a sit down three course meal with waitress service for our club annual dinner. The food was freshly prepared from scratch and was absolutely delicious. All the club members have complimented me on organising a successful event, but this was all down to Clare!!! She is extremely Professional and always gives great attention to detail. I have used her a few times and would highly recommend her.

I was also very pleased that you kindly packed up the meals which were not eaten due to Covid and other unavoidable absences, meaning that many of us were able to enjoy them the following day, so nothing was wasted! There was always someone available to help with the food and drinks and everything was kept cleared up as we went. And they were all kind, friendly and cheerful throughout the day. We couldn't have asked for anything to have been any different. You all made ourselves and our guests comfortable throughout and took all the stress out of having a large crowd to entertain in our home. Many many thanks.

“You could really tell it was all homemade and all so delicious…”
Dear Clare, I feel very remiss that it's taken me this long to contact you to thank you so much for the amazing food for Dad's funeral last month. Ben and I disappeared off to Somerset the day after and we're just back. It really was the most delicious spread and you and your staff were so kind and attentive. I've had so many lovely comments about the food! You could really tell it was all homemade and all so delicious and plenty of it for everyone. I think I told you that, back in the 1970s and 1980s that my Mum was a caterer. Well, both Andrew and I agreed that she would have been immensely impressed!! Thank you so much again for all you did for us on the day. Once the "difficult bit" was over, it was the most wonderful day and Dad would've approved - especially of the lemon drizzle! Clare, we’re fresh out the other side of the wedding reception held in a marquee in our garden for 30 guests. I’m almost struggling for words to thank you for the truly outstanding job you did for the wedding breakfast and drinks service. The food was superb in every way – and you even provided special versions for small children and certain ‘picky’ others! You and your team were smart, efficient and super friendly. You all went above and beyond from start to finish. I have organised a few events over the years and I can honestly say I’ve never been as impressed, nor had delivered quite such a complete ‘package’. Frankly, when we first reviewed Clare’s Website we thought there were simply too many good reviews to be true, but after calling some and also experiencing her meals for ourselves, we realised they were all for real. Clare catered for our group of 53 people on a conference at Bore Place for 3 dinners and 3 lunches. From the beginning Clare was very helpful in guiding us on our food choices from her very comprehensive menu. Her vegan and vegetarian suggestions also proved very popular and she had no problem in catering for the 2 people on a keto diet. The food was visually well presented as well as being delicious and the feedback from all our delegates was extremely positive. Clare’s staff were smart, professional and invariably helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the high level of service was commented on by a number of our delegate. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend Clare’s Cuisine.

We have just about recovered from the madness of the day but wanted to say a massive thank you for all of your hard work before and on the day. The food for the afternoon tea and the buffet was absolutely sublime and so many of our friends and family have followed up to compliment us (ie. You) on the food. The date/fruit cake and the beef have both been mentioned a few times. David and I particularly enjoyed the chocolate and lemon posset pots. We were thrilled with both the quality and quantity of the food. I also wanted to say a particular thank you for coming to our rescue with the cones of chips when the kids food went missing (still no idea what happened there) but we really appreciate you proactively jumping in to save the little ones from imminent starvation. I can’t believe what you were able to achieve in such a small kitchen. We also wanted to commend your team, particularly the gentleman serving behind the bar. He did a fabulous job and was really helpful and friendly all night long. Thanks again for helping to make it a great day for us and we certainly would't hesitate to recommend you to our friends. Dinner Party for 18 – Excellent Service!
Clare produced a delicious lunch/tea after my brother-in-law's funeral. generous and unusual savouries and sandwiches, and a selection of lovely home-made cakes. She and her assistant were attentive and discreet in serving the food and drink, and many of the guests expressed their gratitude and enjoyment of the food. A funeral can be a difficult event to cater, and Clare provided the comfort of good food and a quiet, warm presence plus very welcome clearing away. Recommended.

Over 100 people in a large garden yes but needing to be catered from a tiny old kitchen with virtually no workspace! Clare and her magnificent team excelled - everyone was so complimentary about the amazing food options, and crucial for us, there was absolutely nothing for our ageing Mum as the hostess to worry about, all day and after the guests had departed. Like Party Elves!!! Thank you so much. I highly recommend her and wouldn’t hesitate using her services again.

“Delicious delicious delicious!” 
Clare, My husband and I recently got married and had 118 guests to the reception. We heard of Clare’s Cuisine from a friend and we were not disappointed! From the first time I sent an email to Clare, the communication was impeccable and any issue or concerns I had where answered immediately. On the day, Clare’s Cuisine turned up in good time and got on with their jobs right away. When my husband and I came back from the church, all our guests where already being fed canapes and drinks and they were delicious! When we got all the guests seated, our starters came out promptly (and we know how hard it can be when everyone is not having the same). Staff were dressed professional and spoke to my guests with care and attention. Once everyone had finished, tables where quickly cleared, and the buffet main was served. Clare had a lot of variety on her menu and all plates were full! We even had some food left for seconds! Delicious delicious delicious! Lastly, our desserts- for me the most important bit! We all had a chocolate shot, lemon posset and summer berries. Everyone got their desserts swiftly and efficiently and all had clean plates. Yummy!

Clare was excellent with suggesting alternatives as I had vegetarians, vegans and pescatarians at our wedding. She catered for them and made our day so so special! It was effortless and this was just what we needed for the biggest day of our lives.

To all at Clare’s Cuisine- thank you so much for all your efforts- it has not gone unnoticed what a lovely bunch of people you are and how hard you all worked. Clare, a special thank you to yourself for making our day run smoothly and supporting us along the way and for serving wonderful, tasty food! Five stars to all of you! Love the Newly Weds,

“I, my husband and our guests cannot give enough praise for the excellent food and the waitress service that we enjoyed….” 
Two weeks ago Clare catered for my husband’s 80th birthday dinner. I had met with Clare beforehand at the venue where the dinner was to be held as I wished Clare to see the small kitchen available. I need not have been anxious at all for Clare was very reassuring that the facilities were perfectly adequate and she could easily prepare my chosen menu plus serve an alternative menu for grandchildren, a vegetarian and a non cheese eater! Clare and her team arrived and set the table for 30 guests with crisp white linen cloths, sparkling glasses and shiny cutlery. I added a few touches e.g. flowers, place names and balloons. Clare has an eye to detail and I spotted her checking that everything on the table was straight and in order. This high standard followed through to the food preparation, cooking and to the serving of it. I, my husband and our guests cannot give enough praise for the excellent food and the waitress service that we enjoyed. All of which was managed in a quiet, calm and reassuring way by Clare. Her staff are always professional, polite and very clean. This event is really important to us as it’s a treat for our young people who’ve worked hard over the year, so we want them to feel special and Clare definitely helps us to achieve this.

Clare and her team did an absolutely superb job at our wedding reception, from meticulous and creative planning through to the clockwork delivery on the day. To start with, we wanted to create a menu that everyone would like, could help themselves to but also be fine dining, coupled with top quality cocktails and attentive staff. Clare’s attention to detail and understanding of what we wanted made the whole event a real success. We had a comprehensive tasting session beforehand to make sure the food was on point and Clare offered numerous helpful ideas to improve the menu. The food was delicious, with bountiful canapes during the drinks reception and platters of slow cooked lamb and platters of salmon with an array of vegetables and potatoes for dinner. There were 150 guests in total and it was all suitable for gluten free guests and Clare also created menus for vegans too. She appointed a very competent team to manage our bar, where we opted for four cocktail choices(including expresso martinis, which were a big hit!) as well as quite a few other options throughout the evening. In short, I can’t recommend Clare and her team highly enough - professional, creative, organised, and supremely talented. Thanks!
